Hahow
Hahow is one of very few Taiwanese operators running a consumer course marketplace, a creator supply side, an enterprise subscription (Hahow for Business), and a campus programme (Hahow for Campus) under one brand, differentiated by the thirty-day course crowdfunding mechanism it pioneered in Taiwan. Its growth friction is not demand but unreadable content: hahow.in is a legacy client-rendered single-page application that returns the same 5,472-byte empty shell for every path, always carrying the homepage title. Testing on 2026-07-30 showed that only Googlebot and bingbot are recognised by the prerender rule and receive roughly 498,733 bytes of prerendered HTML with the correct course title, while GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and OAI-SearchBot all receive the empty shell. In practice the 1,129 course URLs and 1,595 article URLs listed in the sitemaps do not exist for the AI answer engines that increasingly decide where new learners come from. On top of that, https://hahow.in/courses returns a 301 to an insecure http://hahow.in/group, and course URLs are opaque object identifiers such as /courses/54d5a117065a7e0e00725ac0 with no keyword semantics. By contrast business.hahow.in and campus.hahow.in do carry a server-rendered title and meta description on every page, which the main site does not, but their page bodies are also client-rendered: every user agent tested, Googlebot included, receives an empty HTML body, so even published list prices such as Basic at NTD 200 per account per month and the campus bundle at NTD 4,800 per account per year are absent from the source. The enterprise side already publishes three tiers and a feature comparison; what it actually lacks is self-serve activation and a total-cost calculator. The single biggest opportunity is to make the consumer library of more than 2,700 pages machine-readable first, then route the question-shaped search and AI-citation demand it unlocks into the enterprise seat subscription, which is the only recurring revenue line in the business.
