50 Lan
50 Lan is a chain that began in Tainan in 1994 and now owns a high-frequency slot in Taiwan hand-shaken tea through pure teas and topping customization, but it is not one company running one brand: the trademark belongs to 50 Lan Enterprise Co., Ltd. while Taipei, the central region, and Kaohsiung are operated by Shen Geng Tea, Ya Lan, and Xin Lan respectively, Tainan is run by headquarters, Yilan and Hualien are declared to have no operator at all, and prices and practice differ by region by design. The growth friction grows directly out of that governance structure. The umbrella site was last updated on 2 June 2022 and carries only the brand history, clarification notices, and regional phone numbers and mailboxes, with no menu, no store finder, and no conversion action of any kind. The North operator site answers only over plain HTTP while HTTPS connections are refused, its footer copyright still reads 2009, the page itself states that it was built by North-region 50 Lan and is not the nationwide official site, and its store search covers only Keelung and greater Taipei. The central domain redirects to a www host that did not respond at all during this check. The result is that nearly every transaction a customer actually completes happens inside somebody else's interface: online ordering runs through the QuickClick portal branded for 50 Lan, delivery runs through foodpanda, and even the per-cup total sugar, total calories, and ingredient origin that shoppers look for appear only in delivery-platform item descriptions. The single biggest opportunity is to pull the brand's only living asset, enormous branded search demand plus store density, back onto its own front door: one national entry point shared by all four regional operators that finds stores, shows the regional menu and price, hands off in one tap to that region's ordering and delivery, and captures first-party membership data, converting high-frequency demand that currently belongs to third-party platforms into an asset the brand can remarket and measure.
